Walter J. Konjolka, age 75, of Pittsburgh, PA, died at home on February 3, 2014, of natural causes.

He was born to Walter and Ann Konjolka (both deceased) of W. Brownsville, PA.

Mr. Konjolka was a graduate of California University of PA, received an M.A. in Communications from Syracuse University, and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. He founded a media buying service, Konjolka/KSL Media in Wellesley, MA, which he ran successfully for many years. After retiring, he lived in Costa Rica for several years before moving back to PA at the end of 2008.

He enjoyed political debate, sports, advertising, good food, and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by daughters: Tara Konjolka-Brown of Brownsville, PA, and Ena Konjolka of Magrin, France, as well as grandchildren, Allison Jolley, Andrew Jolley, Connor Doucette, Solomon Brown and Zoya and Saskia Butty Konjolka.
