Dorothy A. Labrasca Carrozza
Dorothy A. Labrasca Carrozza, 91, of North Belle Vernon, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at 12:08 pm at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.
Born August 25, 1922 in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Andy and Rose Russo Labrasca. A resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Carrozza was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, owned and operated the former Villa Nova, Monessen, was a member of the former St. Sebastian Legion of Mary, the former Ladies guild, former CD of A Belle Vernon Court 1522, former Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 Ladies Axillary, helped deliver meals on wheels and member of the Good Sam’s Camping Club.
She is survived by son and daughter in law Peter P. and Beth Carrozza of Mount Dora, Florida, two daughters and sons in law Rosemary and Kenneth White of Normalville, Angela & Robert Bernardo of Columbia, South Carolina; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter P. Carrozza, Sr. Augusgt 17, 2010, and two brothers, Russell Labrasca and Michael Labrasca and a sister, Angeline Tretter.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as Celebrant.
Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
