Priscilla J. ‘Pearl’ (Rosa) Kupets, age 85, of Mount Macrina Manor Uniontown, Pa., went home to Jesus on Friday, February 14, 2014.

She was born Monday, October 15, 1928 in Uniontown, Pa. daughter of Paul and Julia Rosa.

Pearl was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, and a former member of The Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Golden Club.

She was a licensed Beautician and had been Manager of Kaufman’s Department Store Beauty Salon in Uniontown for many years prior to her retirement.

She was a good cook and baker, and devoted her life to her kids and grandchildren, who were her world.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William T. ‘Red’ Kupets; brothers and sisters, Albert, Paul, Steve, Julia, and Ann.

Left to cherish her memory are her children William T. Kupets Jr. of Hopwood, Pa., Richard P. Kupets and wife Terry of Dawson, Pa., Rose Marie Pocratsky and husband Jim, Uniontown, Pa., and Barbara A. Bakos and husband Bob of Hopwood, Pa.; grand children: Aimee Beth Kupets, Hannah Kupets, Laura Kupets, Leah Eicher and husband Ben, David Pocratsky, Emily Piwowar and husband Chris, Ethan Mildren; four great grandchildren: H a z e l E i c h e r, Christopher Piwowar, Braydon Piwowar, and Landon Piwowar; sisters and brothers: Sue Vagasy of Pittsburgh, Pa., Margaret Chuboy, Mary Larence and husband Frank, and Jim Rosa and wife Judy all of Perryopolis, Pa., Irene Keblis of Markleysburg, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her very special friend, Sister Ann Fedyszak.

Friends will be received at STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown Pa., today from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa

Parish Wake Service will be held in Funeral Home today at 4:30 p.m.
