Applause — Sabrina McMillen
The Uniontown Rotary Club honored Sabrina McMillen of Uniontown as a Student of the Month for January.
A senior at Laurel Highlands High School, McMillen is involved in school activities that include Interact Club, Ski Club, track, AFJROTC, Bible Club, National Honor Society and secretary of the French Club.
Outside of school, McMillen is employed at Anthony’s Lakeside Party Center, where she serves as a cup girl and decorator. Additionally, she is a dancer with the Lanzi Academy, a volunteer with War & Vets, a Living History actress, and is a runner for The Children’s Institute. Additionally, she has completed two half-marathons.
McMillen plans to attend Pennsylvania State University to study American History, with the goal of becoming a curator in a museum, getting married and living a happy life.
She is a daughter of Jamie and Mike Bittner.
