Mary A. (DiVirgilio) Lake
Mary A. (DiVirgilio) Lake, age 64, Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of Perryopolis, Pa., died peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2014.
She was born Tuesday, July 26, 1949 daughter of Eldo DiVirgilio and Mary (Gavin) DiVirgilio.
Mary’s friendly personality and kind heart endeared her to everyone she met. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents, Nora and Jack Gavin, and Jessie and Dominick DiVirgilio.
She is survived by her father, Eldo and wife Shirley DiVirgilio; sister, Margaret DiVirgilio; son, Kevin Lake; grandson, Michael Lake; step-sister Diane Humbert; step brother, Tom Kmetz and wife Laurie; as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday, July 11, at 10 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, with Rev. Father Anthony W. Ditto as Celebrate.
Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pa.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to either Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church or to a charity of your choosing.
