Dona Elaine (Davison) Koon, age 59, Charleroi, Pa., and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014.
Dona Elaine was born on Sunday, May 1, 1955 in Brownsville, Pa., the daughter of Donald and Oleda (Sebolt) Davison.
Dona graduated from Brownsville Area High School in 1973.
She was a Waitress// Bartender at the Gudac Bowling Lanes then a Waitress at Morrison’s Restaurant, Brownsville. From there she went on to Waitress at Eat’n Park in Uniontown, Pa., for 10 years where she earned the nickname ‘Spike’.
Dona also was a life time member of the First United Methodist Church in Brownsville.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Thomas Koon; and an infant sister, Orlena Davison.
She will be sadly missed by her mother, Oleda; daughter, Amanda (Koon) Vinosky and her husband Adam of Brownsville, Pa.; step daughter, Melissa Koon of Uniontown, Pa.; grand son, Bentley; brothers: Wayne Davison and wife Penny of Colorado, David Davison and wife Laurie of Monessen, Pa., and Paul Davison and wife Tina of Brownsville, Pa.; along with many nieces nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa.,Tuesday July 15, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, July 16, 2014 until 1:00 p.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Jay Polowsky officiating.
Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
