Ronald E. Baer Sr.
Ronald E. Baer Sr., age 65, died Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born in Martin, Fayette County, Pa., on Friday, August 27, 1948, he was a son of the late James Baer and Beatrice (Colgan) Baer.
He was an Apostolic by faith.
He was a retired Coal Miner having worked at the Robena Mine.
Deceased are his first wife, Linda (Kaple) Baer; brothers, Clarence Baer, William Baer, Charles Baer; sisters, Pauline Stevulak, Evelyn Shuff.
Surviving are: his former wife, Donna (Harden) Baer; children: Renee Mitchell of Martin Pa., Ronald Baer Jr. of McClellandtown, Pa., and Jason Baer of Nemacolin; 13 grandchildren; sister, Juanita Dusenberry of Florida; four step-children, Robert, Tiffany, William and Michael Presher; and the following who were raised in Ron’s home and he thought of as his own: Huey, Chauncey, Jamie, Chelsea, James, Arlene, Phyllis and Zachery Hughes, Mary Shartiger, Julie and Robin Sepher.
Friends will be received in RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., Philip S. Rishel, Owner and Director, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, July 29, 2014 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Ernie Dodson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Springhill Union Cemetery, Lake Lynn, Pa
