Paul Nelson Nickelson, age 74, of McDonald, Pa. formerly of Janesville, Wisconsin and Point Marion, Pa., went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, June 7, 2014

He was born Thursday, April 25, 1940 the son of Charles Nickelson and Evelyn May (Boyer) Nickelson in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Paul graduated from Point Marion High School, Class of 1957.

He started working for Houze Glass factory in Point Marion, Pa., as an Artist and then became Art Director.

Paul worked for over 40 years in the glass industry throughout the country, retiring from J a f f e C r y s t a l i n Janesville, Wisconsin.

He returned to Pennsylvania in the year 2000 and worked part time at Shop & Save in Imperial, Pennsylvania.

He was a member of the Cross Connection Alliance Church in McDonald, Pennsylvania.

Paul loved spending time outside doing yard work and traveling to spend time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren!

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Delores Jane (Nickelson) Chadderton; his first wife, Mary Hitt.

He leaves behind his wife of thirty-five years, Linda Joyce (Dalton) Nickelson; his children: Gary Nickelson and his wife Tammy of New Martinsburg, Pa., Bobby Nickelson and wife Lisa of Lake Lynn, Pa., and Jodie Lewis and husband Craig of Janesville, Wisconsin; two step sons: P h i l l i p F r i e n d of Middleton, Wisconsin, G l e n n F r i e n d of Edgerton, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his brother, Scott Nickelson and his wife Susan of Greater Point Marion, Pa.; several nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law who will miss him very much.

Friends will be received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, Thomas B. Rudolph, Funeral Director and Supervisor, 15 Main Street, Point Marion Pa (724.725.5256) on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Kevin Truman officiating.

Interment will follow in Arnettsville Cemetery, M o r g a n t o w n, West Virginia.
