Patrick Randall “Bush” Kyle Sr.

Patrick Randall ‘Pat’ ‘Bush’ Kyle Sr., age 57, of Vanderbilt, Pa., died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Latrobe Hospital.

He was born July 3, 1956 in Charleroi, Pa., the son of Ronald Albert ‘Sparky’ Kyle Sr. and Thelma Mae (Helterbran) Kyle.

While ‘Pat’ was in high school, he was a Manager at the Arco Station in Brownsville, Pa.

He graduated in 1974 from Brownsville High School.

He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. Patrick was very proud that his family members have served our country in every war from the Revolutionary War to Iraq Freedom.

Pat was an Electrician and had designed and built many homes all over the Mon Valley area

His last place of employment, prior to his illness, was at Jimmy G’s Remodeling in Carroll Township.

He enjoyed fishing, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching the military channel, and cemetery walking with his brother searching for geneology.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Louis and Margaret Frieda (Young) Kyle; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Beulah (Williams) Helterbran; nephews, Joseph Kyle and Justin Dilley; and a niece, Shelly Murphy.

He is survived by his wife of ten years, Becky (Lyda) Kyle; son, Patrick Randall Kyle II and wife Lindsey, Johnstown, Pa.; two step sons: Brandon Lyda and his girlfriend Teresa of Charleroi, Pa., Tory Wefler of Donora, Pa.; five grandchildren: Adam Kyle, Patrick Kyle III, Julia Kyle, Xavier Teets, Kristan Gamble; three sisters and four b r o t h e r s: Patricia Spalding and husband Joe, Old Town, Maryland Ronald Kyle Jr. of New Eagle, Pa., Susan Miller and husband Jerry of Front Royal, Virginia, Timmy Kyle and wife Carol of Charleroi, Pa., Paul Kyle and wife Debbie of Vanderbilt, Pa. Sherrilynn Lucas of Johnstown, Pa., David Lucas and wife Kathy of Flintstone, Maryland; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews.

Friends will be received Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 2 to 9 p.m. in the FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, PA 15063 (724.258.6136).

Interment, which will be held in Monongahela Cemetery, will be private
