Vincent Joseph Figas, age 86, of Crossville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Life Care Center.

He was born Monday, January 2, 1928 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Joseph Vincent Figas Jr. and Sophie (Panula) Figas.

Before retiring, he worked as a school teacher.

Vincent was an outdoor sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood carving.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Leonard Figas and Elroy Figas.

Vincent is survived by his wife Carol (Benedict) Figas; son, Bernard Figas (Kathy) of St. Louis, Missouri; his brother, Eugene Figas (Linda); his sister, Marcella Legnosky; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Figas; nieces and nephews.
