Irene B. (Kuban) Galderisi
Irene B. (Kuban) Galderisi, age 80, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., went to her rest in the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
She was born Saturday, January 20, 1934 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania the daughter of John P. and Helen Kuban.
Irene was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.
She worked with her husband for many years in the family business, G a l d e r i s i F l o o r Coverings.
She had also been employed with Orchid Cleaners, Uniontown, Pa.
She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were her greatest joy and love of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years Carmen F. Galderisi; and her sister, Marlene Fani.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Carmen F. Galderisi III and wife Barbara of Lemont Furnace; four grandchildren: Carmen F. Galderisi IV and wife Donna, Lemont Furnace, Brandon Galderisi and wife Brandi, Pittsburgh, Pa., Dominic A. Galderisi and Ashley M. Galderisi both of Lemont Furnace; five great grandchildren: Elizabeth Galderisi, C a r m e n Galderisi V, Nathan Galderisi, Sean Galderisi, Aaron Fisher; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown Pa., today, May 21, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, May 22, until 9:15 a.m. when the Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak, V.F., Pastor, as Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Uniontown, Pa.
Parish Wake Service will be held this afternoon at 3 p.m.
