Grace Helen (Morris) Nehls Miller

Grace Helen Miller, formerly Grace ( Morris) Nehls, age 85, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 after enduring declining health for several years.
She was born on Wednesday, May 1, 1929 the daughter of Leslie H. Morris Sr. and Marion (Brill) Morris in Uniontown, Pennsylvania
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie H. Morris Jr.
Grace worked most of her life in sales. She was well known as ‘Grace the ‘Blue Light Special Lady’ from K-Mart.
Grace volunteered for many years at the Saint Vincent de Paul store in Uniontown and enjoyed having yard sales at her home.
Grace was an avid Duck Pin Bowler and loved her Atlantic City excursions, as well as playing cards.
Grace and Stan enjoyed Ballroom Dancing and even danced one year on New Years Eve with the Guy Lombardo Orchestra in New York City.
Grace was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran in Uniontown.
Grace was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Left to cherish Grace’s memory are her husband of 51 years, Stanley Miller; three children: Mark Nehls, Uniontown, Pa., Cyndi Pryce and her husband Garry, Somerset Pa., and Douglas Miller and his wife Piper Reid Hunt of Ellicott City, Maryland; grandchildren Lacey Jaye Beasley and her husband Brandon of Masontown, Pa., and Connor Miller of Ellicott City, Maryland; three great grandchildren: Joshua, Milena and MacKenzi Beasley of Masontown, Pa.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude for the care given to Grace by the entire staff at LaFayette Manor. Their attention to her will always be remembered and appreciated by Stanley and his family.
The family would also like to extend their appreciation to Pastor Anderson and the members of the Wismer Class and the Outreach Committee at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Their kindness will always be fondly remembered by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 24 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the ST. PAUL’S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 71 North Gallatin Avenue, followed by a Service celebrating Grace’s life at 12:00 p.m. with the Reverend Kevin Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery
