Genevieve E. (Balosky) Trout
Genevieve E. (Balosky) Trout, age 76, of Shoaf, Smithfield, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
She was born on Wednesday December 1, 1937 daughter of Walter Balosky and Elizabeth (Billik) Balosky in Smock Pennsylvania.
Genevieve was employed at Ronco Manufacturing and also Gateway Manufacturing in Masontown, Pa.
She was best known for her baking and sewing skills.
She was predeceased by her parents; an infant son; granddaughter, Amy Suchievets; great grand son, Joshua Springer; sisters, Irene Dupak, Mary Ann Pazicni and Sophie Beatty; and a brother, John Balosky.
Surviving are her children: Tina Springer of Fairchance, Pa., Anita Appleby and husband Mark of Elliotsville, Pa., William Trout and his fiancee’ Susan Arnold of Haydentown, Pa., Jerry Trout of Hopwood, Pa., Sharon Swaney and Brian Swaney of Fairchance, Pa., Kathy Suchievets and Stan of Warsaw, Ohio; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings: Betty Ann Vallango, Donna Vee Quiles and Frank Balosky; and her in-laws, Jerry and Marie Trout, whom she loved dearly.
It was Genevieve’s request that there be no public visitation or services and as a token of sympathy that memorial contributions may be made to Genevieve Trout Memorial Fund in care of DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436 who is handling the arrangements.
The family sincerely thanks the staff of the Golden Living Center in Uniontown, Pennsylvania for all of the quality care given to Genevieve during her residency.
