Charles J. Mancuso, age 82, Richeyville, Pa., died Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 in Washington Health System.

He was born on Sunday, April 24th, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York a son of Anthony Mancuso and Mary (Bakos) Mancuso.

Mr. Mancuso was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. For his service he was awarded the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, the National Defense Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the Combat Infantry Badge, and the Purple Heart.

On Saturday, September 26, 1981 he married Patricia (Huzor) Mancuso, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Diane Mignano, Houston, Pa.; a grandson, Nicholas Mignano of Houston, Pa.; one brother, George Mancuso of Long Island, New York; two nieces: Lynn Hills and Carol Culotta; and one nephew, Steven Mancuso.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa.

Interment will be in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
