1 min read

Connellsville police arrested a Connellsville man on Sunday that they accuse of being involved in numerous break-ins in the South Side and Wills Road areas during the past month.

Police said the man was located around 12:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of Vine Street attempting to hide from officers. When the 24-year-old man was taken into police custody, he was found to have multiple bench warrants outstanding, police said.

Police said the man will also be charged at a later date for multiple counts of theft and receiving stolen property. All the charges will be filed through Magisterial District Judge Ronald J. Haggerty’s office.

Police said the man was taken to Fayette County Jail and held on the bench warrants.

Police said they anticipate making arrest on another individual involved in the case.
