Arley Eugene “Abe” Lincoln

Arley Eugene ‘Abe’ Lincoln, age 77, of White House, Pa., died unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2014.
He was born Monday, January 11, 1937 in White House, Fayette County, Pa., son of Arlie Lincoln and Virginia (Cleaver) Lincoln.
Arley was a veteran of the United States Army.
‘Abe’ was employed as a Lineman with West Penn Power Company for many years until his retirement.
He loved fishing and hunting and gardening.
His parents; brother, Donald R. Lincoln Sr.; an infant brother; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Guy and Jennie Brady, have preceded him in death.
Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Emily (Brady) Lincoln; sister, Joan Wilson of Smithfield, Pa.; sister-in-law, Sharon Lincoln of Uniontown, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; a very close nephew, Donald Lincoln Jr. and his wife Billie; and several great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service. Pastor Kenneth Rockwell will officiate.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa., where Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
