Sandra L. “Sandy” (Pieczynski) Mohall

Sandra “Sandy” L. (Pieczynski) Mohall, age 60, Enola, Pa., died peacefully early Monday morning, October 20, 2014 surrounded by the love of family and in the comfort of her home.
Sandy was born on Wednesday, September 15, 1954 in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Edward Pieczynski of Monarch, Pa., and the late Irene (Rifnosky) Pieczynski.
Sandy was a devout Catholic and a faithful member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, Enola, and a former Parishioner of Our Lady of Peace in Conway, Beaver County, where she was the Parish Secretary for 16 years for the former Pastor Rev. Robert Guay, who is currently Parochial Vicar of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Pa. She was also a member of the Church Choir and The Christian Mothers.
She was a Girl Scout and also a member of the Alpha Zeta Delta Sorority
Sandy was a graduate of Geibel High School, Class of 1972, received her Liberal Arts Degree at Mount Aloysius College in 1974, then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Sandy was an Administrative Assistant of Youth and Young Adults of the Diocese of Harrisburg, Pa., with six years of service.
In addition to her father, Sandy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Richard “Rick” A. Mohall, whom she married August 20, 1977;
her two loving daughters:
Leann Manning and her husband Ryan of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Susan Mohall and her fiancé Chad Szymanski of Toledo, Ohio; her grandson, Chase Michael Manning of Pittsburgh, Pa.; her siblings: Alan Pieczynski of Monarch, Pa., Diana Downing and her husband Jim of Pittsburgh and their daughter Anna, Barry Pieczynski and his wife Theresa of Connellsville, Pa., and their children Julissa and her husband Allen Arison and Stephen Pieczynski and Ian Alec Pieczynski and his wife Kelly of Pittsburgh and their daughters Alex and Bailey, Carl Pieczynski and his wife Laura of Pittsburgh, Pa., and sons Luke Pieczynski and John Pieczynski.
Sandy’s family will greet friends in the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME INC., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Prayers of Transfer will be said on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Partner Parish of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Everson, Pa., with the Rev. Robert Guay of Pittsburgh and the Rev. John Bednarik, Pastor of the Saint Francis Of Assisi Parish in Harrisburg, Pa., as Con-Celebrants.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Parish Cemetery, Everson, Pa.
