Connellsville police have accused an Everson man of being involved in numerous break-ins in the South Side and Wills Road areas during the past several weeks.

Police arrested Thomas Dale Sparks, 24, of Everson Oct. 12 while he was in the 1100 block of Vine Street allegedly attempting to hide from officers. When Sparks was taken into police custody, he was found to have multiple bench warrants outstanding, police said.

According to court documents, Sparks was charged Thursday with multiple counts of theft and receiving stolen property. All the charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Ronald J. Haggerty’s office.

Police said Sparks remains in Fayette County Prison and held on the bench warrants.
