Kevin Dwayne ‘Hotdawg’ ‘Dawg’ Berdar, age 44, passed away Monday September 8, 2014 at his home in Uniontown, Pa., with his loving family by his side.

He was born on Wednesday, January 28, 1970 in Uniontown, Pa.

Kevin was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

He graduated from Laurel Highlands High School, Class of 1988.

He was a member of the New Salem and the Allison II Volunteer Fire departments.

He was also a member of the Amend Gun Club.

His passions were his family and driving truck.

Surviving are his wife Nancy Kay (Fisher) Berdar; two sons: Jonathan Michael Berdar and fianceé Ashleigh Yoder, Brownsville, Pa., and Joey Dwayne Berdar at home; brother, Robert ‘Bob’ Johnson and wife Julie; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dorsey and Linda Fisher; brother-in-law, Deek Fisher and wife Teresa; sister-in-law, Tracy and John Migliozzi; special nephews and nieces: Ryan Fike, Marissa Migliozzi, D. J. Fisher and Miranda Fisher; very special friends: Scott and Cynthia Blair, Eric and Juli Jacobs, and Aaron and Mindy Bowman; his special companions: Roxie, Harley and Timberlyn.

A special Thank You to Heidi Gluvna and Darla Dowling of the Amedisys Hospice and his special cousin Gwen Rishel for their wonderful care.

Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, September 11, 2014 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.
