Robert N. ‘Pear’ Matthews Sr., age 64, of Mount Independence (Lemont Furnace), Pa., died Tuesday, September 9th, 2014 at home.

Friends will be received today from 6 to 9 p.m. in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., and on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon, the hour of Service with Pastor Richard Hines and Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Military Honors will be accorded by the AMVETS Post 103.

Interment will be private.
