Matthew Ryan John
Matthew Ryan John, age 33, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away on Friday morning, September 12, 2014 in his home.
He was born on Wednesday, September 9 1981 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of James Michael John Sr. and Kelly A. (Kennedy) John.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Sophia Jean (Bartos) John.
He was a member of Saint George Maronite Catholic Church.
Matthew was a graduate of Laurel Highlands Senior High School.
In addition to his loving parents, Jim and Kelly, he is survived by his loving son, Matthew Ethan John, whom he adored more than anything in the world.
He is also survived by his loving brother, James Michael John Jr. and wife Jill of Uniontown, Pa.; his loving twin sister Candace Beth John and Mike Petrus, Pittsburgh, Pa.; his grandparents: Fouad S. John and Frank and Elizabeth Kennedy; nieces: Kate John and Mackenzie John; aunts and uncles: Eileen and Dan Plumb, Donald and Lisa John, Lorraine and Nabil Abdelmalek, Rochelle John, Greg and Terri Kennedy, Chris and Shannon Kennedy, Lisa and Richard Bertovich, Eric Kennedy; cousins: Brittany, Brooke, and Madison Bertovich, Daniel and Natalie Plumb, Daniel John, Sarah, Adam, Ali, and Susan Abdelmalek, Gianna Kesler, and Ryan Kennedy; other relatives; and many friends.
Friends will be received in KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., Monday, September 15, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday morning until 9:30 a.m. when parting prayers will be said.
Divine Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint George Maronite Catholic Church, One Lebanon Terrace, with Rev. Father Sami Chaaya as Celebrant.
Interment follows in Mt. Macrina Cemetery.
Parish Rosary will be said in the Funeral Home on Monday at 6:00 p.m. and Service of Ghinnaz will be at 8:30 p.m.
