Erminio "Emery" B. Antonucci

VIRGINIA

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Erminio ‘Emery’ B. Antonucci passed away suddenly Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the age of 90.

A former resident of Hiller, Pennsylvania, he resided in Springfield, Virginia.

Emery served in the United States Army, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II in Belgium.

After his retirement from the Prudential Insurance Company, Emery served for 18 years as Volunteer Coordinator for the Alexandria (Virginia) Police Department, and then as Secretary of the 75th Infantry Division Veterans Association.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Sons of Italy.

Emery enjoyed many hobbies including travel, woodworking, gardening, model airplanes, and photography.

He was excellent at DIY projects, and all types of home repairs.

He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Norma Jean (Magrini) Antonucci of Brownsville Pennsylvania; and by his parents, John Antonucci and Maria (Calvisi) Antonucci of Hiller, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula Antonucci Barlowe and her husband Robin Barlowe; his son, Chris Barlowe and his wife Johnna Barlowe; and his son John R. Antonucci and his wife Toni Antonucci and their son Rick Antonucci and his wife Glensey Antonucci; his two brothers: Mario Antonucci and Lino Antonucci; and one sister Mary Moncini.

Emery will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends!

Emery was laid to rest next to his beloved wife Norma Jean in National Memorial Cemetery, Falls Church, Virginia.
