Mary B. Baran
Mary B. (Blaszczak) Baran, age 97, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Lafayette Manor, Uniontown.
She was born on June 2, 1917 in Phillips, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Victoria (Oprzedek) Blaszczak.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 55 years, John P. Baran in September of 1999, sisters, Ethel Jodoin, Helen Stallings, and infant sister Emilia Blaszczak; and her brother Edward Blaszczak.
Mary was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, and St. Joseph Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lenora Jean Baran of Washington, Pa.; sisters: Laura Zartman of Broad Run, Va., Irene Merrill of Uniontown, Pa., Lenora Brady of Colorado Springs, Colo., Lillian Lisiecki of Novi, Mich., Joan Rozolosky of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Avenue, Ext., Uniontown PA, on Monday,
April 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 6 until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Father Ronald L. Simboli Officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
