Anna Louise (Manzola) Giobbi
Anna Louise Giobbi, age 90, of Dunbar, Pa., died Thursday, April 2, 2015 at home.
She was born Tuesday, June 10, 1924 in Dunbar, Pa., daughter of Louis Manzola and Antionette (Bell) Manzola.
Anna was a member of Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She graduated from Connellsville High School, Class of 1941.
Anna worked as a Meat Cutter for Pechin Market
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alex Giobbi; three sisters, Evelyn McLaughlin, Elizabeth Capitos, and twin sister, Caroline; a daughter-in-law, Kim (Mike) Giobbi.
Surviving are two sons: Alex (Judy) Giobbi of Connellsville, Pa., and Michael (Michelle) Giobbi, of Sarver, Pa.; grandchildren: Ryan (Jamie) Giobbi, Breanne (Tim) Freehling, Kaleigh (Fred) Bernard; great grandchildren: Alexis, Nicholas and Max Giobbi and Cameron and Arron Freehling; her long time companion, Joseph Connell; dear friends: Mary Allshouse and Dick Graft; sisters-in-law: Edie (Walter) Lewandowski, Pauline (Nick) Giobbi; and many nieces and nephews.
No visitation today Easter Sunday
Friends will be received Monday from Noon to 9 p.m. in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa.
The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home Monday at 4 p.m. with a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Ranch Road, Dunbar, with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
Interment follows in Mount Auburn Cemetery
Visitation was also held Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.
