Fanchon (Fields) Nutt, age 86, Grindstone, Pa., passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at home.

She was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 3 1928 a beloved daughter of Charles Fields and Edna (Nicklow) Fields.

Fanchon was a loving, caring person who shared everything she had with anyone that needed help.

She was a member of the Curfew Grange and a 4-H Leader, but the membership she loved the most was being a leader of the Pomona Youth Group.

She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church, Uniontown, Pa.

Fanchon worked as a Switch Board Operator for Bell Telephone and also Uniontown Hospital and was an aide for Intermediate Unit One.

Fanchon was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 48 years, Glenn Nutt; daughter, Robyn Nutt Maust; and her eleven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by the following children: daughters, Shannon Barkley and her husband Jim, Beth McClain, Jeff Nutt, Scott Nutt and his wife Linda; eight grand children; six great grand children; a sister, Linda King and husband Bill; a brother, Gary Brownfield and wife Gina.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 until 10:30 a.m., the hour of the Service. Angel Zueger will officiate.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

Fanchon will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all the people whose lives she touched.
