Ronald Eugene “Ron” Novonglosky
Ronald ‘Ron’ Eugene Novonglosky, age 76, of Dunbar Township, Fayette County, Pa., died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at home with wife and sons at his bedside.
He was born in Monarch, Fayette County Pa., on Saturday, August 6, 1938 son of Veronica Novonglosky Natale.
After graduation from Dunbar Township High School in 1957, he served two years in the United States Army.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Carteret County, North Carolina.
Ron will be forever remembered by his grandchildren for his silly jokes, fun original games, French toast, and his pure enjoyment of their company!
Friends and family will think of Ron when they pass a yard sale, a flea market, or antique shop.
Ron loved oldies and had a collection of 9,000 45 rpm records.
He had a quick wit that remained until the end.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica Natale; and his daughter, Traci Lynn.
He is survived by his wife Judith with whom he recently celebrated 50 years of marriage; his two sons: Ronald Novonglosky Jr. (Kristi) of Chipley, Florida and Matthew Novonglosky of Morrell, Pa. His five grandchildren Saylor, Ainsley, Sam, Sophie and Konner were always a great source of pride and love to their ‘Pap’. Also survived by two cousins who were as close to him as brothers: James Novonglosky of Trenton, New Jersey and Edward ‘Bud’ Schmidtke of Redondo Beach, Calif.
His body will be cremated at his request.

Friends and family will be received at PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., Dennis N. Heath Jr., Supervisor, 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of his Memorial Service with Pastor Herb Dubler officiating.
