Allan C. Conaway, age 82, of Coal Center, Pennsylvania died on Saturday, April 18, 2015.

He was born on Wednesday, September 21, 1932 in Centerville, Pennsylvania.

He was member of the American Legion Post 940 in West Brownsville.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Nancy (Ailes) Conaway on Tuesday, August 12, 1997; two brothers, Roy Conaway and Donald Conaway; and a sister, Susan Baker

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Alice Conaway; step daughters: Bonnie Baker and her husband Bill of St. Louis, Missouri and Connie Hajduk and her husband Lou of Centerville Pennsylvania brother, Joley Conaway and his wife Susan of Akron, Ohio; five step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m

Honoring Allan’s request, his funeral services will be private and for family only.
