Friday, November 27, 2015 marks the passing of beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and great-great-grandmother Anna Marie Fisher of 72 Johnson Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania She has gone home to the “Beautiful Promised Land” to walk in God’s garden with her Lord and Savior.

She was born on Sunday, February 4, 1923 in Uniontown, Pa. Anna Marie was loving and devoted to her parents, JC and Mary Church, to her husband of 59 years John J. (Jack) Fisher, and to her son, Bruce J. Fisher, who all walk together now in God’s garden.

Anna Marie was a lifelong resident of Uniontown and very active in her church and community. She was a Uniontown High School graduate in the class of 1940 and chairperson for her class reunion committee. She was a member, President, and Secretary of the February Fourthers and she actively participated in the Summit Golf League and Niners Golf League. She presided as past President with the Elks Ladies Auxiliary, Toastmistress, and Service League. Actively she participated in campaigning for different constituents whom she believed would make Uniontown a better place for the future. She was an avid bridge player and loved to travel, but her passion in life was her family whom she loved dearly. She was an amazing wife, mom, mentor, and friend who is loved and cherished very much, especially by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Her spiritual fulfillment grew through worshipping at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church in Uniontown, where a part of her family history began. She actively participated with visitation of Shut-ins, Ladies Ushering Team, and member, as well as past president, of the Wismer Sunday School Class.

The family she leaves behind to cherish and share the wonderful memories of her life are her daughter Mary Dorothy (Dee) White of Uniontown; her sons John J. (Jay) Fisher of Carefree, Arizona, Lawrence M. (Larry) Fisher and wife Carol of Uniontown, Pa., and Timothy L. (Timmy) Fisher of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren Michael L. (Mike) Fisher and wife Kelly of Uniontown, Pa., Danyell (Lynde) White-Lemly of Locust, North Carolina, Kimberly (Kim) Fisher-Kimble of Bristow, Virginia, Kaitlyn Fisher of Phoenix, Arizona; great-grandchildren Rio, Sophia, and Ava Fisher, Marianna and Caden Lemly, Bailey and Emma Shaffer, and Reese and Dylan Kimble; great- great grandson, Zasper Fisher; dear cousin Mary Dorothy (Mickey “D”) Caruso; special nieces and nephews Dorothy Olmo and Lonnie Miller; Richard and Kyoko Fisher, Margaret Schmoeckel and Dan Stettler, Bill Fisher, Mary Beth Hirsch, Debbi Phillips and Patrick Geoff, Chrisie and Shawn Sandy and Mark and Marie Fisher and their families; extended family Leona Null, Bob and Robbie McFadden, Gareth, Tripp and Landry Overcash, Ruth Laing, Cathy and Randy Pepe, Morgan (Pepe) and Andy Arbini, Eric Pepe and Taylor Sheridan, the Ozanich Family, Brooke Kimble, Cheryl Raffle, Kay Belfer Chickee Hinchliff, Chris (Ziggy) Taylor, and Sam Sampson; many other close relatives and friends.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

The Service to Celebrate the Life of Anna Marie will be held on Saturday, December 5 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the SANCTUARY OF ST. PAUL’S EVANGELICAL CHURCH, 71 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania with the Reverend Kevin Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Gardens, 132 Twin Hills Road, Brier Hill, Pa.

Following interment, all are invited to a “Celebration of Life” meal in memory of Anna Marie, a true “Angel” from God, to be held in the Fellowship Hall of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. All other times, friends are welcome at the family home, 72 Johnson Avenue, Uniontown.

Donations may be made directly to the Wismer Class of St. Paul’s Evangelical Church.
