Frederick Fletcher
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor David Watkins officiating at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, Inc., for Frederick Fletcher, who passed away on Sunday, November 29th, 2015. He was 74.
He was born on Thursday, April 3, 1941 in Brownsville, Pa., a son of Joseph Fletcher and Virginia (Moneypenney) Fletcher.
Frederick came to Youngstown, Ohio from Pennsylvania in 1966.
He served in the United States Army Reserve.
He worked for General Motors in Lordstown for 37 years.
Frederick also owned Baggy Knee’s Bar on Meridian Road.
He belonged to the Elks Lodge, Brownsville, Pennsylvania.
He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s events and activities, enjoyed golfing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play.
Surviving are his wife, Donna (Mendish) Fletcher, whom he married on Thursday, September 30th, 1965; a son, Derick (Michelle) Fletcher of Canfield, Ohio; two daughters: Dana Kosco and Darcy Fletcher both of Youngstown, Ohio; one sister, Linda (Gary) Klingensmith of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren: Kyle Kosco, Kamren Kosco, Emerson Fletcher and Ethan Fletcher; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Norma Jo Fletcher.
Friends will be received on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the VASCHAK-KIRILA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3100 Canfield Road, Youngstown, OH 44511 (330.792.2357).
