Josephine M Kozlowski age 85, of Nemacolin, Pa. passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Care, Waynesburg, Pa.

Josephine was born November 15, 1930 in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Michael, Sr. and Maria Matey Simkovic.

She is survived by six children: Joseph Kozlowski (Mary), Carmichaels, John Kozlowski (Harriet) of Nemacolin, Vincent Kozlowski, Sr. (Billie) of Nemacolin, Debra Cox (John) of Carmichaels, Jerry Kozlowski (Anna) of Uniontown, Cindy Walters of Uniontown; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren; one brother, Andy Simkovic of Carmichaels, and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a son, Charles and a daughter, Donna Marie Kozlowski, two brothers, Joseph and Mike Simkovic, and two sisters, Ann Zdravecky and Velma Kesock, and a son-in-law, Clarence Walters.

Josephine was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church, Nemacolin, and the Altar Rosary Society.

She loved looking after her family, cooking, canning, and crocheting.

Family and friends will be received in the LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa.15320(724-966-5100), Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director/Supervisor on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels with the Reverend John M. Bauer, Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
