A two-vehicle accident occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of Riffle Hollow Road and Route 166 in German Township. One person was taken from the scene via medical helicopter.

One person was taken by medical helicopter from the scene of a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in German Township.

According to LC Otto, chief of the Adah Volunteer Fire Department, fire personnel used extraction tools to extricate two people who were trapped in one of the vehicles.

One person was transported from the scene by medical helicopter, and the other person was taken to Uniontown Hospital.

The accident occurred at 1:50 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Riffle Hollow Road and Route 166. Six fire companies responded to the scene.
