Austin was known as ‘the Cool Dude’.
He thought about others before himself.
He loved to tinker with anything mechanical and would fix everyone’s car.
Friday ‘Pizza Night’, good friends would gather at his home and eat pizza and fried chicken, he would play the guitar and everyone would sing.
He recorded several 78 records with music he wrote and sang; he was a very talented musician.
Being from Pennsylvania, he would love to say ‘Is it snowing yet?’ and he was known to say ‘good morning’ no matter what time of day it was.
He learned about computers at age 80 and outgrew the technology on his laptop within six months. He especially loved to ‘Skype’ and ‘Instant Messaging’ with family members.
His favorite color was red.
You always knew when he was ready to go for a ride —– he would come out of the bedroom with his cowboy hat on!
His family and friends were very important to him and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him!
In his own words for his loving wife who predeceased him ‘Together Again’.
