Yolanda “Ducky’ (Lattanzo) Trafecanty
Yolanda ‘Ducky’ (Lattanzo) Trafecanty, age 89, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at her home in South Connellsville, Pa., comforted by her loving family.
She was born on Monday, May 3, 1926 in Connellsville, Pa., a daughter of Carlo and Giovannina Lattanzo.
She was a very active member of the Saint Rita Roman Catholic Church, choir, and The Christian Mothers.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Paul T. Trafecanty on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 two brothers, Lewis A. Lattanzo and her twin brother Ernest Lattanzo; sister, Florence Comfort; and other siblings, Frank Sherman, Mary Georgio, Theresa Zenezio, and Rose Andriozzi.
She is survived by three sons: Paul Thomas ‘Tommy’ Trafficante Jr., Timothy Trafecanty and his wife Jan, Joseph Trafecanty and his wife Diane; four daughters: Yvonne Ruck, Mary Ann Osniak and her husband William, Susan Powell and her husband Merril, Sonia Bentley and her husband Robert; 16 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 to 8 p.m. in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First Street, Connellsville, PA 15425 (724.628.9033) where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, December 9, at 9:45 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Saint Rita Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Father Robert T. Lubic as the Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Rita Roman Catholic Cemetery.
The family requests that donations as a token of sympathy be made to the Saint Rita Roman Catholic Church, 116 South Second Street, Connellsville, PA 15425.
Saint Rita Christian Mothers will conduct a ritual in Funeral Home on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
