Carol Jean (Morgan) Adams
Carol Jean (Morgan) Adams, age 85, of Layton, Pa., passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Country Care Manor, Fayette City, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Layton Pa., on Wednesday, April 2, 1930 a daughter of Charles Morgan and Myrtle (Thomas) Morgan
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James E. Adams; grand son, Jimmy Gene Adams; brother, David Morgan, John Morgan and Charles Morgan; sisters: Charlotte Strickler and Izetta Carson.
Carol is survived by her children: Jimmy Adams and his wife Diane of Bridgeport, West Virginia, Nancy Harvey and her husband George of Perryopolis, Pa., Melzia Keffer and her husband Edwin of Vanderbilt, Pa., Betty Ferguson and her husband Mark of Perryopolis, Pa., Terry Adams and her fiancé Charles Beernes of Belle Vernon, Pa., Henry C. Adams and his wife Jeanette of Dawson, Pa.; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; her sister, Eva Fike of Markleysburg, Pa.; many nieces and nephews.
Carol’s family will receive friends today, Tuesday, December 15, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., where her Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday December 16 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Edward Truitt officiating.
Interment will follow in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt, Pa
