Harold Randolph, age 99, Carmichaels, Pa., died at 9:52 a.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa.

He was born on Saturday, September 16, 1916 in Cumberland Township, G r e e n e County, Pa., a son of Robert F. and Ruth Ellen (Kerr) Randolph.

Mr. Randolph was a 1937 graduate of the Cumberland Township High School in Carmichaels and resided in the Carmichaels area all of his life.

He served with the United States Army during World War II with the Medical Detachment of the 339th Infantry. Mr. Randolph attained the rank of Technician 3rd Grade and received the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Medical Badge, the Distinguished Unit Badge, and the European -African-Middle Eastern Service Medal with five Bronze Stars.

Mr. Randolph worked for the Carmichaels Area School District in Maintenance until his retirement in 1979.

He was a member of the former Glades Presbyterian Church and currently a member of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church. Mr. Randolph served both churches as a Deacon.

He was very handy in fixing things around his home.

On Sunday, July 16, 1961, Harold married Margaret H. Areford, who survives.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Edna McClure of Bridgeville, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are his parents; eight brothers, W i l l i a m Randolph, R u s s e l l Randolph, R a y m o n d Randolph, R i c h a r d Randolph, W a l t e r Randolph, D o n a l d Randolph, Allan Randolph and Carl Randolph; a sister, Mary Moser; brothers-in-law, Ervin Areford and Leonard Areford; sister-in-law, Velma Ketter.

Family and Friends are welcome Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME (724.966.5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 S o u t h Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa., where the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015. The Rev. P. Keith Larson will officiate.

Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park with Military Rites and Honors accorded by Cumberland American Legion Post 400, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491 and the United States Army.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, Post Office Box 363, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
