A prisoner is facing charges for allegedly fighting with another inmate and sending him to the hospital.

Jonathan Wesley Harris, 28, of Pittsburgh, allegedly engaged in a fight with William Steven Hall at the Fayette County Prison Friday.

Hall is awaiting trial in Fayette County Prison for multiple burglary charges in three counties.

He was admitted to Uniontown Hospital with a facial fracture and lacerations to the head and face, according to the affidavit. Police said Harris did not have any visible injuries.

Both the defendant and Hall told police the fight was mutual, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Police said the prison warden provided a video of the alleged assault, which showed Harris punching Hall in the head and face.

Harris is facing charges of assault by prisoner, aggravated assault and simple assault, according to court documents.
