Patricia R. “Pat” (Thomas) Rockwell
Patricia R. (Thomas) Rockwell, age 76, of Fairchance, Pa., died and went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
She was born on Saturday, April 8, 1939 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Ray Thomas and Gweneth Marie (Brownfield) Thomas.
She attended the White House Free Methodist Church.
Pat was a very charitable person who loved helping those in need.
She was very active in fund raising for the Fairchance Volunteer Fire Department and was very active in the Yough Walleye Association.
Pat was employed with Intermediate Unit One for many years until her retirement.
Her parents and a brother, Barry Thomas, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her loving family: her loving husband of 46 years, Kenneth W. Rockwell Sr.; children: Bobbi Jo Bolden and husband Bob Bolden of Altoona, Pa., David R. Blaney of Otisville, New York, Rev. Kenneth W. Rockwell Jr. and wife Barbara A. Rockwell of McClellandtown, Pa., and Karen R. Pegg of Fairchance, Pa.; grand children: Shari and Brett, Krys and Dylan, Kenneth and Sarah, Abbey and Travis, Timothy Jr. and Jasmine, Mitchell and Angela; nine great grand children; brother, Jack Thomas and wife Carol Thomas of Ballston Lake, New York; two sisters: Sharen Clarke and her husband Bob Clarke of Chalk Hill, Pa., and Ruth O’Brien and her husband Rev. Charles O’Brien of Hopwood, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with her son, Rev. Kenneth W. Rockwell Jr., officiating.
Entombment will follow in The Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
