Anna “Annie” (Gaydos) Moscalink

Anna ‘Annie’ (Gaydos) Moscalink, age 87, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Mount Macrina Manor.
Annie was born on Friday, October 26, 1928 daughter of John Gaydos and Veronica (Bersock) Gaydos in Grindstone, Pennsylvania.
She graduated in the Class of 1946 from North Union High School
She was a homemaker and such an excellent cook of her famous hunkie foods: soup and homemade noodles, haluski, pirohi, and studenina (jellied pigs feet).
She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown.
Annie was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great grandma ‘Bubba Annie’ who took great pride in making her house a home for her beloved family.
She was predeceased by her parents; by her husband, Leon Joe Moscalink Sr.; brothers, John Gaydos, Michael Gaydos, Paul Gaydos, and Joseph Gaydos; and sisters, Helen Polink and Veronica Talaga.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Leon Moscalink Jr. and his wife Susan of Greensburg, Pa., and Gregory Moscalink and his wife Nancy of Uniontown, Pa.; her devoted daughters: Amelia ‘Mimi’ Swenglish and her husband David of Uniontown, Pa., and Veronica Nelson and her husband Brian of Amherst, Ohio; her grandchildren: Terra Moscalink of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Katie Moscalink of Pittsburgh, Pa., Chad Swenglish and his wife Courtney of Smock, Pa., Zachary Swenglish and his wife Courtney of Fairchance, Pa., Dylan Swenglish of Uniontown, Pa., Shelby Lieb and her husband Nate of Avon, Ohio, Brian Nelson II, Allen Nelson, Leanna Nelson of Amherst, Ohio; her great grandsons whom she thought the world of: Mason Paul Swenglish of Fairchance, Pa., and Levi Alexander Lieb of Avon, Ohio; her sister, Margaret Whitaker and husband Gene of Stephens City, Virginia, and George Gaydos and wife Janet of Uniontown, Pa.; sister-in-law, B e t t y Gaydos of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Private Memorial Services were held in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday December 23, 2015. The Reverend Father Ronald P. Larko officiated.
Interment followed in Sylvan Heights Cemetery
