Christine K. (Rekrut) Bennett, age 61, of California, Pa., died Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

She was born Tuesday, October 12, 1954 in Brownsville, Pa., a daughter of George Rekrut and Mary (Halo) Rekrut.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; and by one sister, Mary Ann Detrick.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Frank ‘Butch’ Bennett of California, Pa.; daughter Kristen Bennett two step-sons: Frank ‘Ben’ Bennett and wife Barbara and Jason Bennett and wife Julie; brother, George Rekrut and wife Kim; and grand children: Gracie Bennett, Aubrey Bennett, Eddie Dubielak, Cody Dubielak

Friends will be received in the M A R I S C O T T I FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 8:00 p.m. Reverend Father Paul J. Gruenbach ill officiate.

Interment will be private for only family.
