Man arrested after allegedly firing shot at women and children
A 20-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly pointed a loaded shotgun at a woman and later fired a shot at a vehicle with children inside Saturday.
Isaac Farrell of Uniontown is facing more than a dozen charges for the alleged incident, according to court documents.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, Briawnna Long told police Farrell took her phone and car while she was sleeping. She said he is the father of her two children.
She said she found Farrell at Woodview Terrace and tried to get her car keys from him. He allegedly pushed her out the door.
She left and later went to her residence to get items for her 1-year-old child. Her car had been returned to the residence.
Farrell allegedly yelled at her, saying she wasn’t leaving. When she told him she was leaving, he allegedly took out a shotgun, put a round in the chamber and pointed it in her face.
He allegedly told her to get the car and her kids. He said when her sister pulled away, he would shoot at the car.
She said he followed her to the car with a handgun in his pocket. She said he took their 2-month-old son when she got in the car with her sister.
Long said he ran out of the residence and fired a shot at the car. Their 1-year-old baby, Long’s sister and her two toddlers were in the vehicle, police said.
Police found him at 16 Pershing Terrace with the handgun and arrested him. The handgun was allegedly stolen.
Farrell is charged with receiving stolen property, firearms carried without a license, disorderly conduct, two counts of endangering the welfare of children and four counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment.
He is in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
