James William Cronin Sr., age 84, Brownsville, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Uniontown Hospital.

He was born Sunday, December 7, 1930 in Large, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania the son of James Cronin and Anna (Seleski) Cronin Cherok.

Mr. Cronin worked at Bethlehem Mines (Mine 60), also Lincoln Homes, and retired as a Van Driver for the Ricco Bus Lines.

Surviving are his wife, Trillis Ellen (VanDivner) Cronin; children: Lisa Delgado (Raul) of Low Hill, Brownsville, Pa., Barbara Cronin, Donna Rayburn (Richard), James Cronin Jr. (Nina) and Michael Cronin all of Brownsville, Pa., Randy Cronin (Tina) of Belle Vernon, Pa., and Wendy Lancaster (John) of Uniontown, Pa.; 16 grand children; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are his parents; two daughters who died in infancy; sister, Maryanne Roberts and brother, John Cherok

Friends are welcome to attend a Blessing Service on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the THOMPSON-MARODI FUNERAL HOME INC., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314 (724.239.2255) with the Reverend Father Edward L. Yuhas officiating.

Visitation with the family will follow from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.

Private interment will be in Acklin Cemetery, Redstone Township, Fayette County, Pa.
