Barbara Lee (Briscoe) McKnight
Barbara Lee (Briscoe) McKnight, age 69, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday morning, February 15, 2015 in Liberty Hall Personal Care, Fairchance, Pa.
She was born on Thursday, May 31, 1945 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late John L. Briscoe and Connie D. (Zapolski) Briscoe.
Barbara was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Uniontown.
She was also a member of the former Circle Club and many bowling leagues and card clubs.
She graduated from South Union High School, Class of 1964.
Barbara worked for 23 years at Newcomer’s Hair Stylist.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Robert McKnight; two daughters: Tanya Hughes and husband Michael of Morgantown, West Virginia, Tammy Hugh and husband Dr. Christopher Hugh of Huntington, West Virginia; grandchildren: Jenna, Justin and Jacob Hughes, Nathanial and Abagail Hugh; and one brother, Richard Briscoe.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa., Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Visitation will continue Thursday, February 19, 2015 in ST. PAUL’S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 71 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Kevin Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Chalk Hill, Pa.
