Officials identify woman killed in Saturday crash
A Fairchance woman killed in a Saturday afternoon crash died of blunt force injuries to her head and face.
Officials from the Fayette County coroner’s office identified the woman as Trudy Zooner, 56.
Zooner was a passenger in a Jeep that was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Dry Knob Road in Georges Township around 1 p.m.
The driver of the Jeep, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital, officials said. Two passengers in the Dodge truck that was involved in the accident were also taken to the hospital.
Deputy Coroner Jessie Camilli pronounced Zooner dead at the scene around 2 p.m., officials said.
No autopsy is planned.
