Norma R. (Moore) Rager
Norma R. Moore Rager age 85, Centerville, Pa., died Monday, February 23, 2015 in the Donnell House, Washington, Pa.
She was born Sunday, December 1, 1929 in Brownsville, Pa., a daughter of Winfred Darrell Moore and Cora O. (Huhn) Moore.
Mrs. Rager was a homemaker.
She was a longtime member of the Taylor United Methodist Church and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post No. 705, Centerville, where she held several offices.
She enjoyed machine bowling and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On Tuesday, August 7, 1951 she married Lloyd Keith Rager. He passed away on Saturday, April 19, 1997.
Also deceased are her parents; and a sister who died in infancy.
Surviving are two children: Carol A. Crockett (Jim) of Coal Center, Pa., and Robert K. Rager (Cindy) of Brownsville, Pa. (Centerville Borough); three grandchildren: Jim Crockett Jr., Kelly Crockett and Samantha Rager; four great grand children: Alyssa Crockett, Brody Crockett, Vincent Manzella Crockett and Brayden Crockett; one brother, Darrell Moore Jr. (Margaret) of New Salem Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., where Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 12 Noon with Reverend Max Miller and the Reverend Dr. Thomas St. Clair co-officiating.
Interment will be private.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Taylor United Methodist Church, 600 Old National Pike, Brownsville, PA 15417.
