Charles E. ‘June’ Hartman, age 82 years, of Georges Township, Smithfield, Pennsylvania died on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at home.

He was born Sunday February 28, 1932 in Fairchance Pennsylvania the son of Charles Ray Hartman and Kathryn (McFadden) Hartman.

His parents; sister, Freda Williams; brother, Arthur E. Hartman, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, May Marlene (Brewer) Hartman; son, Charles E. Hartman Jr. and his wife Pamela of Fairmont, West Virginia; two grandchildren: Christopher E. Hartman and wife Damee and Kathleen Grace “Katy” Hartman; great grand daughter, Sophee Louise May Hartman; brother, George W. Hartman Sr. and his wife Antoinette; sister, Lula Dice; and nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance Pennsylvania on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, January 9, 2015 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Jim Handschumaker officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa
