Donna J. Gambone
Donna J. Gambone, age 72, Connellsville, Pa., passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Highlands Hospital.
She was born Friday, September 25, 1942 in Connellsville, Pa., a daughter of Gerald Gambone and Amelia (Piccioni) Gambone.
For 27 years, Donna was Vice-President of Operations with American Security Bank, Washington, D.C.
Then Donna worked in the office of State Senator Richard Kasunic for 14 years.
Donna’s pastimes included gambling at local casinos, playing cards, computer games, and watching sports.
Donna is survived by a brother, Robert A. Gambone of Monroeville, Pa.; three sisters: Sandra Lincoln of Dunbar, Pa., Mary Balena and her husband Richard of Monarch, Pa., Jackie Gambone, Connellsville, (Dunbar Township); five nephews and nieces: Bill Lincoln Jr. and wife Zoe of Pittsburgh, Pa., Eric Lincoln and wife Melissa of Allentown, Pa., Jerry Lincoln of Bellefonte, Pa. Lori Balena of Dunbar Township, Pa., and Greg Lincoln and wife Leigh Anne, Connellsville, Pa.; four great-nieces and one great-nephew: Erica Lincoln, Emma Lincoln, Jillian Balena, Gregory Lincoln, Amelia Lincoln; “Everyone’s favorite aunt”, Rose Novak of Dunbar (whom Donna met every Thursday for cards); a special friend, Alexis Davidson of Fairfax, Virginia; her dog “Allie” and her cat “Tommy”.
Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, PA 15425 (724.628.9033) on Sunday February 1, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the time of a Memorial Service with Reverend Father Robert T. Lubic officiating.
Donna’s family thanks the staff at Highlands Hospital for the care and compassion that they provided.
