Patrick John ‘Jack’ Nicklow Sr., age 65, of West Leisenring, Pa., passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 in Pittsburgh Pa
He was born on Wednesday, January 18, 1950 in Mount Braddock, Pennsylvania.
Jack served Honorably in United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was self-employed business owner and Mechanic.
He had also been employed as a Security Officer at Excela Health Frick Hospital.
Jack was the North Union Township Auditor for eight years.
Jack was a member of the Cove Run Free Methodist Church and also the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Cub.
He coached Little League Baseball at Hutchinson and coached Midget League Football, Youth Basketball, American Legion Baseball and County League Baseball.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Jack dearly loved and adored his two grandchildren!
Preceding him in death were his parents, Daniel Truman Nicklow and Mary Belle (Martin) Nicklow; three sisters: Mabel Hart, Shirley Wambaugh, Mary Bryner three brothers, James Nicklow, Robert Nicklow, Daniel ‘Gene’ Nicklow.
Surviving are his loving wife, Debra L. (Bartock) Nicklow; three children: Patrick John ‘Jack’ Nicklow Jr. and wife Amy of Uniontown, Pa., Mary Ann Nicklow of McLean, Virginia, and Steven D. Nicklow and wife Crista of Uniontown, Pa.; two grandchildren: Joshua Nicklow, Haley Nicklow; a sister, Sarah Aultz of Uniontown, Pa.; three brothers: William ‘Ed’ Nicklow and wife Larna of Oliver, Pa., Anthony Nicklow and wife Laverne, Baltimore, Maryland and Richard Nicklow; and two very special friends: Donald Santore of Uniontown, Pa and Curtis Shaffer of Buffington, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME INC., 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. andTuesday, July 14, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Roger Yeager officiating.
Interment to follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery
