Pauline Marie (Swestock) Layhue
Pauline Marie (Swestock) Layhue, age 90, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Thursday, July 16, 2015.
She was born on Wednesday, February 25, 1925 in Keisterville, Pa., to George and Mary Swestock.
Pauline was a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, New Salem, Pa.
Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald L. Layhue; and precious daughter, Shirley Ann; brothers and sisters, George, John, Sophie, Mary, Martha, Samuel and Julie; and parents.
She is survived by her loving children: Donna Forrai Kalman of Greensburg, Pa., Marilyn Tatar and husband Timothy of Upper Middletown, Pa., Robert Lige Layhue, Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren: James and wife Kristy, Edward and wife Sonya, Steven and wife Julie, Michael and wife Mindy, Julie Ann, Dawn Marie and Renee’; many cherished great grand children: Travis, Jake, Paige, Steven, Michael, Cole, Maya, Cody, Lila Dawn, Kaitlin, Robert, Ashley, Amber, Frances; a great great grandchild, Ainsley; and her loving sister, Helen Pellish of Parsippany, New Jersey. She will be greatly missed by friends and staff at Marquis Gardens Place in Uniontown
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., today 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Opening Prayers will be recited Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
A Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 91 South Mill Street, New Salem, with Rev. Father Vitaly Dudkin officiating.
Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
A Memorial Service will be held in funeral home today at 6:00 p.m.
