Norman J. Chuma

Norman J. Chuma, age 56, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, beloved father, husband, grand father, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend to many, passed on Friday, May 8, 2015.
Born to John Chuma and Alberta (Kebberly) Chuma on Friday, April 24, 1959 in Filbert, Fayette County, Pa., he was one of four siblings.
In addition to his parents, Norman was also preceded in death by his sister, Constance Chuma Dillow; and by his brother-in-law, Dr. Ronald W. Dillow.
Norman graduated from Uniontown High School and received a degree in Business from Penn State University.
He served Honorably in the United States Navy.
He was employed by Rockwell International (Sensus Technologies Inc.) as a Linesman.
Norman was a member of the Central Christian Church in Uniontown.
Norman is survived by his wife, Della R. Hilling Chuma; two daughters: Angela Vernet and her husband Donald of Uniontown, Pa., and Ashley Chuma and her fiancé Mike Santore both of Uniontown; four grand children: Lauren, Scott, Julia and Sophie Vernet; brother, John Chuma Jr. and his wife Lori of Merrittstown, Pa.; two sisters: Paulette Allison of Uniontown, Pa., and Gloria Strickler and her husband Bob of Plum Boro, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The arrangements have been entrusted to ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA 15401 and will be private at Norman’s request.
