Mr. Arthur Cooley Jr. ‘Art’, of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia passed away on Monday, May 11 2015 at the age of 64.
Art will always be remembered for his compassionate, caring yet laid back approach to life.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was born on Monday, December 18, 1950 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania and spent his youth growing up in Hardin Hollow, Fairchance Pennsylvania
He served seven years in United States Army stationed in Germany as well as bases within the United States.
Art also worked at Coopers Rock State Park in West Virginia for ten years, and enjoyed spending much of his free time in the outdoors.
Surviving family members include daughter, Jennifer Bachner, Evans, Georgia; daughter, Marilyn Huff of Dearing, Georgia; sister, Anna Stefancin of Chesterland, Ohio; brother, Jim Cooley of Robling, New Jersey; grandchildren: Taysha Lewis of Augusta, Georgia, Steven Williams of Augusta, Georgia, Tyler Williams, Augusta, Georgia, and Ian Huff of Harlem, Georgia; companion, Tammy Cress of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the WEST VIRGINIA NATIONAL CEMETERY 42 Veterans Memorial Lane, Grafton, WV 26354 (Phone 304-265-2044).
